Dr. Murali Kalyanaraman founded Oorjita after more than three decades in corporate finance. Most recently he was Managing Director & Chief Financial Officer of Indiassetz Infrastructure, and his career includes Tata Steel, Tata Elxsi, Torry Harris and Honeywell Technologies. He has also served as an independent director on the board of Subex.
A Chartered Accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, he has spent his career on the side of the table where the numbers are made — building budgets, defending forecasts and answering to boards. Oorjita brings that discipline to independent research: every brief and deep dive is written under his direction, reading companies for cash, quality of earnings and the credibility of management.
